Take 5 | Q&A With Beatrix Masotti, Asheville, North Carolina Managing Broker

This summer, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty welcomed Beatrix Masotti as the broker in charge of its Asheville, North Carolina office.  An accomplished real estate professional with decades of experience in the Central Florida luxury market, she now calls the beautiful mountains of North Carolina home. We were curious to learn a little more about this fabulous addition to our leadership team, so we caught up with Beatrix for an insightful mini interview.

Q. What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?

A. Stay true to yourself and seek the satisfaction of helping others be successful!

Q. If you could time travel, where would you go?

A. Back to spend time with my dad. He passed away at a young age, he was only 61. I’d like to spend time with him again when we were on the road. We traveled all over the country for his machinery company – we made a good team!

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do in Downtown Asheville?

A. EAT. I love food and I am still exploring all of the options. I love the farm to table, fresh food options. Asheville has so many restaurants that cook with the farm to table mentality. Farming is something we are looking forward to doing, once we settle in to a new home. A healthy lifestyle is really important to me.

Q. What movie could you watch over and over, and never grow tired of?

A. Pretty Woman. I have seen it probably 100 times and I could watch it 100 times again. Love the Pygmalion theme.

Q. Outside of real estate, what is your greatest passion?

A. My family. My mother has lived with us since my dad passed away and my sons all want to be close by. Having lived in Florida for 28 years, our goal was to move to Asheville and enjoy life here. The plan was set in motion very quickly as I accepted the position of managing broker and moved to North Carolina. We are a close family and I’m looking forward to having them all here soon!
