Premier Sotheby’s International Realty Boasts Highest Port Royal Sale of the Year

NAPLES, Fla. (May 9, 2017) – Premier Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that it recently represented both buyer and seller in the sale of a $17.7 million estate at 3750 Rum Row in the prestigious Port Royal neighborhood in Naples.  Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Linda Richards Malone represented the buyer and the firm’s Thomas Gasbarro represented the seller. This represents the highest-priced home sale in Port Royal and all of Naples, as reported in the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® Southwest Florida Multiple Listing Service, in 2016 and 2017.

“We are not surprised by the sale of this gorgeous home,” said Realtor Linda Richards Malone. “Our very pleased new European owners already had their eye on Naples because this beautiful locale enables them to escape from winter to warm, sunny weather in just five hours on their private jet,” added Malone. “In addition to blue skies and sunshine, they found everything they were looking for in this magnificent bayfront home: a brand new, turnkey residence with breathtaking wide water views.”

“I am very pleased to have worked with such a talented group of individuals in creating this wonderful home,” Realtor Thomas Gasbarro stated. “Being a part of this process from land acquisition through closing of the sale to the new owners will resonate as one of the highlights of my 15-plus-years with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty...with many more to come.”

Artfully designed by Stofft-Cooney Architecture and built by BCB Homes, this masterful Port Royal home is pristinely positioned along the southern edge of Hidden Bay overlooking Man-O-War Cove. Exquisitely appointed interiors by Ficarra Design Associates showcase an exquisite balance between modern architecture and contemporary design complemented by warm finishes typically reserved for personally customized homes.

Situated on nearly an acre with 170 feet of bay frontage, the sprawling 9,512-square-foot open concept floor plan includes six bedrooms, eight full baths, two partial baths, two laundry rooms and two two-car garages. Each guest bedroom offers a uniquely designed en-suite bath. The expansive floor plan also features a grand living room with brick feature wall and fireplace and large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the home’s expansive outdoor living space, pool and waterway.

Upon entering through the home’s statuesque solid wood front entry doors guests are greeted by a magnificent foyer adorned with a three-tiered, 40-inch-high by 39-inch-deep John-Richard agate sliced chandelier in a gold-leaf finish.

Pivotal to the home’s effortless flow and ease of accessibility is an artfully placed floating staircase showcasing an ingenious marriage of wood, glass and metal designed to naturally illuminate – allowing for uninterrupted light day and night.

Designed for today’s active lifestyle, the chef’s kitchen is a dream come true with ample counter space and discretely disguised appliances, with the exception of the two Sub-Zero refrigerators. The Bernier cabinets are constructed of a rich walnut and rift-cut white oak and the countertops are comprised of a beautiful marble finish, including two islands offering the perfect space for party preparation or eat-in dining. The kitchen gracefully incorporates an additional wine refrigerator and ice maker, strategically placed. Additionally, a modern glass wine room with stainless steel cabling holds in excess of 400 bottles of wine – kept at a constant 58 degrees via separate compressor.

Outside of the main house awaits a tropical oasis with ample space for entertaining, casual dining or relaxing by the pool. This space offers a fully functional outdoor kitchen with an oversized gas-fired barbeque, Evo grill, icemaker, wine refrigerator and all of the warmth and convenience of indoor living space. A separate outside sunken sectional sitting area with fire pit overlooks the salt water infinity pool complete with fiber optic lighting and captivating wide-water views of Man-of-War cove. Escape the sun’s rays or watch the sunsets from a completely private, climate-controlled, self-standing pool cabana with full pool bath and privacy draperies.

The Nantucket-inspired guest house has a cozy New England look and feel with white washed floors, the use of heavy linens, blue and white tile wall feature, accent white washed driftwood lamps and simple, easy lines. Enjoy breakfast prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Convenient proximity and access to the main house – while maintaining a sense of privacy – the guest house is the perfect retreat for in-laws, au-pair or visiting guests.

Additional features of the home include an in-house gym, wine bar, gaming room, entertaining space with 75-inch flat-screen television, elevator and two laundry rooms – one on each floor for easy access.
