He currently resides on the water in Sorrento Shores in Osprey with his wife and two children. When he isn't cheering on the Florida Gators he can be found out on the water in his boat or on his jet-ski. In fact, showing waterfront property by boat is something for which Terry is known.

Originally from Illinois, where he earned his degree in Business Administration from Goshen College, Terry moved to Florida and started Biscay Realty with his father before joining Premier Sotheby's International Realty. His wife, Tonya, is a registered nurse in pre-op at Sarasota Memorial Hospital where she has dedicated herself for the past 19 years. Their daughter, Chloe, is a junior at Sarasota Christian School and their son, Blake, is a junior at University of Florida in Pre-Pharmacy. They are all involved in the Bayshore Mennonite Church in Sarasota.
