With a career spanning over four decades, Barbara (also known as "Barb") has been a licensed real estate professional since 1984, specializing in residential and development projects. Barb's dedication to the industry is evident through her extensive experience and notable accomplishments.
In 1996, Barbara founded Vance Realty Group, which grew to encompass two offices and over 50 full-time REALTORS®. Many of these professionals began their careers under Barb's mentorship, benefiting from in-house training programs. After a successful decade, the venture was sold in 2006.
Over the years, Barb has been affiliated with prominent real estate firms, continually broadening her influence in the market. A dynamic speaker known for the presentation 'Distinguish or be Extinguished,' Barbara has continually shared her expertise and insights with peers.
In 2019, Barb co-founded Briggs, Vance & Associates Realty with longtime business associate Dawn Briggs. This new venture underscored their commitment to innovative strategies, particularly in residential real estate, where they advocate for no-lock/No Supra Key listing techniques. Ultimately, Barb established her place at Premier Sotheby's International Realty, further cementing her position as a leading expert in the field.
Since 2021, Barbara has served on the board of advisors for the Hannibal Square Community Land Trust, reflecting her commitment to community development and support.
